th-stopping

th-stopping is the realization of the dental fricatives (/θ/ & /ð/) as stops - either dental (// & //) or alveolar (/t/ & /d/) - which occurs in several dialects of English.

This would be an example of an stereotype; a linguistic feature which is is generally negatively evaluated or stigmatized.
